SO glad to have this place in my town just minutes away! Many delicious things and comfort foods. Tony does a great job, blessed to have very good Chinese food in Kingston. Always a treat when my gf or I surprise the other with a Joy Luck family dinner. LUV the soups--she the wonton, me the hot n sour.

I think your website is extremely lacking...I can't even click on an item to get a description. You only have a handful of pictures. I suspect that the dishes are not nearly as pretty in real life as they appear here.

We eat here about once a month, our favorites are the walnut shrimp and the barley green noodles. the girls are little surly but i don't know if they are mistreated, they have a different family dynamic then a typical western family in addition to being teenagers having to work in the family restaurant. but overall it's a good reliable meal.

This is wonderful food and so convenient to stop in and grab dinner. My favorite is the broccoli chicken and the stir fried green beans. The people are very welcoming and have great service.

We have seen this restaurant change hands over the past years. We never eat in the restaurant but regularly order take out.We have been delighted to find original and well prepared dishes made with things like walnuts with chicken, eggplant with a tangy sauce, squid in a tempura-like covering, and lots of Fresh vegetables. This is not the place it use to be, and the dishes are more imaginative than the old days.

Waiting in the lobby for my food and the young ladies working here are quite unhappy and not so friendly!! I will definitely not come back because of the customer service!! They are aking like they are slave labor and this is a business and its a must for great customer service!! They must hate their jobs!! So sad!!!

Not Closed - I just ordered Barley Noodles and Walnut Shrimp.Although this place is new to Kingston (new owners) - it is a defiant improvement over the old "Joy Luck" establishment. Looking forward to their potential.

This is the original restaurant to occupy the space. The King Dragon leased the space from them from 2008-2012 but lost the lease in July, 2012, so the Joy Luck returned.I wasn't that big a fan of the King Dragon, so I was hopeful that the change of hands would be an improvement. It is not. I ordered the cream cheese wontons, the potstickers, and the General Tso chicken, and all three dishes were pasty to the point of being gummy. These are not adjectives one normally associates with food, let alone three such disparate dishes, yet here we are. They were pasty. They tasted plain odd. The wontons, particularly, were inedible. After I'd eaten four, my jaw was actually getting tired from chewing their gumminess. Simply inedible.
